Access Statistics

For degree-issuing institutions, statistics about the usage of digital certification is important to justify investment into the corresponding infrastructure and integration processes. To produce statistics, it is necessary to combine artefact retrieval logs, knowledge about available artefacts, and some heuristics. In particular, two kinds of statistics are supported so far:

* Retrieval rate per course/achievement. It shows how many students (in %) have on average retrieved linked badges.
* Retrieval rate over time across all courses, segmented by artefact type. It shows the popularity of PNG, PDF, HTML etc. as well as accesses by third-party services such as badge validation, badge sharing or badge management.
